Returns & Delivery


Whilst we are continuing to fulfil online orders, we are operating with delays. If your order is significantly delayed we will be in touch however we would ask that you are patient during these times as we continue to closely follow official regulations to ensure we are prioritising the well-being of both our staff and customers, as this is of utmost importance to us.  Our warehouse team are following strict safety protocols that are implemented to protect their well-being. These precautions may result in a slightly longer dispatch time than usual, but we will do our utmost to ensure that all orders get to you as soon as possible.
We recommend monitoring your tracking number for up-to-date information on deliveries with DPD, as these vary from region to region depending on the backlog and/or volume with each depot. 
Because the situation is complex and constantly developing, our delivery times may also change, and we will endeavour to do our best to keep the information on our site up to date as well as on your order. Rest assured that we are following the situation closely, if anything changes, we’ll let you know.

Our standard delivery time is between 3-5 working days, nationally across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Public holidays and Christmas period may delay this time frame. 

All orders placed before Midday will be dispatched the same day. All orders placed after Midday will be dispatched the next working day. 

Please note for some larger furniture, playtime items or pushchairs, the delivery information on the product page will state delivery time from ordering. For out of stock items the delivery information from the time of ordering will be outlined on the product page. 

We offer Free Delivery for Small Item Orders over €50, across Ireland and N.Ireland only.

For large items we charge €10 per box.

Large Items include:

  • Furniture - Cots, Cribs, Chairs, Wardrobes etc.
  • Large sized items - Oversized Items details outlined on the product itself.
  • Pushchairs & Carseats

These items may come in multiple boxes e.g a cot may come in 4 boxes for which the delivery fee would be €40.

Final dispatch date for Christmas orders is the 18th December.Orders placed before 1pm on the 18th will be dispatched before Christmas, if the product is already available and in stock.

Orders placed after 1pm on the 18th December, will not be dispatched for delivery until the 30th of December,if the product is already available and in stock.

Prices for the products offered for sale in our online store do not include shipping costs. Our delivery charges and methods are as described on our website. Title for products purchased from our online store passes to the purchaser at the time of delivery by Bygge Bo to the freight carrier, but Bygge Bo and/or the freight carrier will be responsible for any product loss or damage that occurs when the product is in transit to you.

The products available on the store have been designed, marketed and sold for use by residents of the Republic of Ireland and residents of Northern Ireland. All safety warnings, information, instructions, packaging, in-box materials, mobile apps, and support services are provided only in English. You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the product is destined. We are not liable or responsible if you break any such law.


 We want you to love your Bygge Bo products as much as we do, but we understand that sometimes a product may not be suitable.

We are happy to accept returns for web orders within 28 days of receiptso long as the goods are unused, in their original packaging and in a fully resalable condition.

Returns received beyond this time will not be accepted, returns received not in a resaleable condition will not be accepted.

I would like to return an item, what should I do?

Customers are responsible for all exchange shipping costs.  If you would like to exchange your product(s) for another product(s) OR for store credit within 28 days of shipping date please contact us at and we will organise for an exchange/refund form to be emailed across to you. If the replacement item is more expensive than the item it is replacing, there will be a request to pay the difference. In the opposite case, you will receive a voucher (credit note) for the price difference. 

If you would like a refund for your product(s) please follow the instructions below

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. All refunds will be processed to the original payment method, less the cost of shipping, within 28 days of receipt of the product and credited back using your original form of payment. 

  • We always advise recorded delivery via your local post office or a courier. Please note Bygge Bo cannot be held responsible for returned items that are lost or damaged in the post.
  • Please print and include this form or if you don't have a printer please make sure you include a note in your parcel with your NAME, ADDRESS and ORDER NUMBER (if possible). Please note any returns without NAME and ADDRESS may not be able to be processed. Make sure you retain the original packaging to avoid damage in transit. However, if this is not possible please pack the item in another cardboard box.
  • Please submit your return request via our Returns Portal HERE or bring your item for return into our store.

My item is faulty or damaged, what should I do?

We take very good care to quality-check all items thoroughly before they are sent to our customers.  If however there happens to be an issue with your purchase we’d be happy to assist.

  • If you receive any faulty items, please contact us immediately at
  • We may ask you to send a photograph of the damage and will arrange for collection of the damaged items as applicable. All items returned as ‘faulty’ will be assessed thoroughly to confirm that the damage is due to a manufacturing fault and not wear and tear or intentional damage which cannot be covered by our returns policy. In some cases, the item may need to be sent to the manufacturer for them to investigate, which can take up to working 20 days.
  • Faulty items returned after the regular returns period of 28 days can be professionally repaired and returned to you at no extra cost. If the item is unrepairable we will offer you a full refund, credit note or replacement (at our discretion) depending on the extent and nature of the damage.

We will send you a replacement if available, otherwise, a refund or credit will be issued at our discretion.

Which Items can I Return/Exchange? 

All items from the website can be returned or exchanged within 28 days of receipt, except those outlined below. Return items must be intact, in perfect condition ready to be resold and in their original packaging. They must not be worn or used, nor have deteriorated in any way, no matter how small, and must be perfectly clean. Any item that is damaged, incomplete or whose original packaging has deteriorated will not be refunded nor exchanged.
Items ordered via a gift voucher can be returned. They can be exchanged or refunded in the form of a voucher, but cannot be refunded in cash or via another payment method.

Return Exclusions & Exceptions

  • SALE ITEMS: Please note items bought in sale periods (Black Friday, January sales etc) and items discounted for clearance, are excluded from being returned, unless there is a manufacturers fault with the item. This does not affect your consumer rights.
  • FURNITURE: Please note we cannot accept returns on furniture items unless they are manufactured faulty. If there are any issues please contact us in writing at
  • SPECIAL/CUSTOMISED ORDERS: These products are non-refundable unless there is a fault with the product.
  • PUSHCHAIRS & CAR SEATS: Pushchair and Car Seat returns must be returned within 14 days of purchase/delivery are subject to a 15% of the value of your total order, restocking fee.
  • For HYGIENE reasons, we do not refund/exchange on bedding/mattresses/breast pumps or any other feeding related equipment.
    • Sleep bags, pregnancy pillows, towels, bathrobes, mattresses and baby nests.
    • No returns on baths, bottles and dummies, lotions and skin care products, changing mats, underwear, swimwear, headbands, and hats. Unless they are faulty.
