Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Bygge Bo’s online store. When you purchase products from our online store, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) and any other terms we may supply, including but not limited to our Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
Our online store and the products offered in our online store are for retail sales to private consumers only and not for resale.


    From time to time we will provide our customers with the option to pre-purchase items before they open as general sale items. This is known as a ‘pre-order’ item. You will be charged in full at the time you place your ‘pre-order’, along with any applicable shipping costs, you will then be notified at a later date when your item is due for delivery or available for in-store collection.  

    Any item which is not in stock at Bygge Bo which is ordered in directly from our suppliers as a custom order, is considered a ‘special order’.  ‘Special orders’ require a minimum down payment of 30% of the value of the order, if the order has a delivery date over one month in advance, this deposit is non-refundable from the point your order is submitted to our supplier. If your required delivery date is under one month, full payment is required up-front.

    All ‘pre-orders’ and ‘special orders’ are handled by Shopify, and Payment Sense online or Vend in-store these are our third party payment processing partners. When you place a ‘pre-order’ or ‘special order’, you are expressly agreeing to these Terms of Sale, as well as our Privacy Policy.

    When collecting ‘pre-orders’ or ‘special order items’ from our store there is a maximum 14 day collection period from the date of when you are notified of your order being ready for collection. Orders not collected within this period will be canceled and a refund processed or for ‘special order’ items a refund will be process where applicable for the balance minus your 30% deposit. Items from uncollected or canceled orders, will then go into general sale and may not be available to re-purchase.

    For sale or clearance items payment must be made in full at the time of purchase.

    ‘Special orders’ with a delivery date under 1 month must be paid in full at time of purchase.

    Any changes to ‘special orders’ could delay the full order so please check when amending your order by asking a member of staff in store or a customer service adviser.

    If you wish to cancel an order please visit one of our stores or call our Customer Service team, please note your deposit may not be eligible for a refund.

    Any deposit or down payment paid to secure an order shall be paid to, and held by, our parent company ByggeBo Ltd. ByggeBo Ltd. shall retain any such payments made until your order has been collected or delivered to you. Deposits are non-refundable if your order has been already submitted to our supplier.

    If Bygge Bo is unable to fulfil your order we will notify you and ByggeBo Ltd. shall refund the amount paid by you, within 14 days of its notification, to your original method of payment (i.e. credit card, debit card, PayPal, or to a combination of payment methods as applicable).

    Paying for your Order via Payment Instalments

    Orders with a value of €300 or more, with a future delivery of more than 1 month, can be paid via installments. A 30% initial deposit* is required and the balance split over 3 further installments or over a maximum of a 4 month period. There is no interest to pay and you can make payments when it suits you. You can make payments online, via the phone, or in store.

    The balance of your order must be paid in full at least 28 days before the delivery date of your order. Orders, where the balance is not paid 28 days before delivery, may delay the date for which you receive your order.

    By providing a payment card, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the payment card and that you authorize Shopify, Payment Sense or Vend—our third-party payment processors—to charge your payment card for the total amount of your order (including all applicable taxes and other charges). If the payment information you supply us is rejected or we cannot otherwise process your transaction, your order may be canceled, suspended, or delayed. It is your responsibility to resolve any payment problems Bygge Bo encounters while processing your order. If you wish to alter, amend, or change your payment information, you can do so at any time by logging into your Shopify account and updating your payment information.

    Bygge Bo welcomes payment by the following credit and debit cards in store, through our Customer Service team and on our website at;

    Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Visa Electron and Laser (the Republic of Ireland in store purchases only). Payment by PayPal is accepted online, at our website only.


    All products offered on Bygge Bo’s site are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to impose quantity limits on any order, to reject all or part of an order and to discontinue offering certain products without prior notice. Prices for our products are subject to change at any time, but changes will not affect any order(s) you have already placed. 

    Special discounts including sign up, promotional and other discount codes are applied to products solely at our discretion. Discounts applied to orders already placed will be honoured however discounts site wide are subject to change at any time and exclusions may apply.


    Prices for the products offered for sale in our online store do not include shipping costs. Our delivery charges and methods are as described on our website. The title for products purchased from our online store passes to the purchaser at the time of delivery by Bygge Bo to the freight carrier, but Bygge Bo and/or the freight carrier will be responsible for any product loss or damage that occurs when the product is in transit to you.

    The products available on the store have been designed, marketed and sold for use by residents of the Republic of Ireland and residents of Northern Ireland. All safety warnings, information, instructions, packaging, in-box materials, mobile apps, and support services are provided only in English. You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the product is destined. We are not liable or responsible if you break any such law.


    You have 28 days from the date of shipping to make sure what you ordered from Bygge Bo is right for you. Sale items must be returned within 14 days of purchase.

    If you aren’t 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return your order for a refund, or exchange with the exception of furniture or unless otherwise outlined, see “Return Exclusions”. Please note that any product you return needs to be in new unused condition and with the original tags or packaging undamaged, to be eligible for a refund or exchange. Bygge Bo reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to determine whether a returned product is in new unused condition. We will return/refund the full amount you paid less the shipping. You are responsible for return shipping charges and any damage that may occur in transit.  We strongly recommend you return your item via tracked postage, in order to avoid loss of your return in transit. Please keep your tracking details safe until your return has reached us.




    SALE ITEMS: Please note items bought in sale periods (January sales etc) must be returned within 14 days of shipping, returns after this timeframe will not be accepted, unless there is a manufacturers fault with the item. This does not affect your consumer rights.

    FURNITURE: Please note we cannot accept returns on furniture items unless they are manufactured faulty. If there are any issues please contact us in writing at

    SPECIAL/CUSTOMISED ORDERS: These products are non-refundable unless there is a fault with the product.

    PUSHCHAIRS & CAR SEATS: Pushchair and car seat returns within 14 days of purchase/delivery are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

    For HYGIENE reasons, we do not refund/exchange on bedding/mattresses/breast pumps.Sleep bags, towels, bathrobes, and baby nests.No returns on baths, bottles and dummies, lotions and skin care products, changing mats, underwear, swimwear, headbands, and hats, teething products. Unless they are faulty.


    We take pride in sourcing suppliers and/or products with strong track records for excellent quality. However, we understand that from time to time there may be manufacturing faults with your purchase. In rare occasions such as these, please contact us as soon as possible via the ‘Contact Us’ section of our website, where a Bygge Bo Team member will assist with your issue.

    All items returned as ‘faulty’ will be assessed thoroughly to confirm that the damage is due to a manufacturing fault and not wear and tear or intentional damage which cannot be covered by our returns policy. In some cases, the item may need to be sent to the manufacturer for them to investigate, which can take up to 20 days.

    Faulty items returned after the regular returns period of 28 days can be professionally repaired and returned to you at no extra cost. If the item is unrepairable we will offer you a full refund or replacement (at our discretion) depending on the extent and nature of the damage.


    By placing an order for Bygge Bo products, you agree and understand that Bygge Bo may store, share, process and use data collected from your order form or phone/fax/email order for the purposes of processing the order. Bygge Bo will not share your data with anyone else. If you have signed up to the newsletter Bygge Bo will send you emails from time to time.


    We reserve all rights permitted to us under these Terms and Conditions as well as under the provisions of any applicable law. Our non-enforcement of any particular provision or provisions of these Terms and Conditions or any applicable law should not be construed as our waiver of the right to enforce that same provision under the same or different circumstances at any time in the future.

    In respect of complaints, we will consider the nature of the complaint and will contact you within 7 days of the complaint giving you the result of the enquiries and what we propose should be done. Any complaints should be emailed to
